Suzanne Rae

New York-based designer Suzanne Rae Pelaez launched her ready-to-wear line, Suzanne Rae, after stints at Costume National in Milan and Morgane Le Fay in New York. A Parsons grad, Pelaez, who describes her lines as both "feminist and feminine," frequently collaborates with local artists to create patterns for her collections and uses locally sourced, sustainable materials.

"I seek to create an experience through the wear of clothes, an experience that is progressive towards the evolution of society, that is, of ourselves as human beings."
