Mulberry
Life, liberty and the purse-suit of happiness
English luxury-goods brand, Mulberry, was founded by Roger Saul in 1971. While Mulberry had built a solid reputation as one of Britain's leading lifestyle brands throughout the eighties and nineties, it wasn't until 2003 that it would become an "It" brand under the direction of Nicholas Knightly. Knightly, famous for designing the seminal Bayswater tote, would resign in 2004 but the brand continues to produce highly covetable bags and ready-to-wear, notably winning the Designer Brand prize at the British Fashion Awards in 2010.
