All of knit-wit Angela Missoni's fashion education took place a casa. Before officially taking over design duties from Mama Rosita and Papa Tai in 1997, Angela put in 17 years in the family run business. Since the success of her first spring 1998 collection, Angela has lightened up her parents' rustic, 70s-flavored knits and turned them into sexy, slinky pieces for the modern Donna. In 2009, the first luxurious Hotel Missoni opened in Edinburgh.
