CFDA award winner Michael Bastian launched his namesake label in 2006 after five years at Bergdorf Goodman, where he served as men's fashion director. Known for his luxurious yet understated interpretation of classic American sportswear, he famously began collaborating with GANT in 2010, designing a more casual, affordable collection, GANT by Michael Bastian. In 2011 he was named Menswear Designer of the Year by the CFDA.
