Elliott Giffis

California native Elliott Giffis is the designer behind menswear fashion label Elliott Evan. The contemporary line made its debut on the runway during New York Fashion Week in February 2013 and caught the attention of the fashion sect for its innovative construction and avant-garde designs.

Born in 1986, Elliott grew up in San Diego and moved to San Francisco to study at the Academy of Arts University, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design with emphasis on menswear. Keen to seek new opportunities, Elliott moved to Los Angeles the same year and took an internship with men's fashion label B. Scott, gaining first-hand experience as a pattern cutter and in product design. After a yearlong stint honing his skills, he took on a position at United Taken and during this period also consulted and designed for Bohemian Society for their Spring/Summer '13 runway show.
