With a background in art history and historical costuming, Christian Lacroix applies his zeal for fantasy and theatrics to create true design spectacles. Lacroix arrived in the 80s with the opening of his fashion house and immediately set the world on fire with unexpected mixes of colors and patterns, lacquered dresses cut from ultra luxurious fabrics, reembroidered lace, décolleté necklines, studded belts & gloves, and of course, his infamous "Le Pouf" ball skirt.
