Founded in 1818 by Henry Sands Brooks, New York-based Brooks Brothers is not only the oldest men's clothier in America but was also the first to introduce ready-to-wear. The company that has outfitted countless presidents and public figures over the years remains as relevant as ever, notably entering the high-end market in 2007 with Black Fleece, a collection that's been both a critical and commercial success under the direction of famed designer Thom Browne.
