As a teenager, Alberta Ferretti would display her original creations alongside those made by the emerging designers she carried at her boutique in Cattolica. After catching the eye of an agent, she launched her signature line in 1974 and made her runway debut in 1981 in Milan. Chiffon dresses made up of strong silhouettes, crafty embroideries, and plissé; cropped tops covering the color gamut dress the tender yet tough Feretti girl.
